A New Dawn at St Irene Orthodox Mission Centre and Orphanage

Welcoming New Little Children as a New Academic Year Commences

With thanksgiving to Almighty God, the Giver of every good and perfect gift, we stand at the threshold of a new academic year at St Irene Orthodox Mission Centre and Orphanage. As the season of learning begins, the Lord has entrusted us with new little children to be part of our sacred family. We receive them with prayerful hearts and pastoral love, recognizing in each child the image of God and a precious soul called to grow in wisdom, grace, and hope.

A Home Founded on Faith and Love

Our mission remains firmly rooted in the Orthodox Christian faith, where love is not merely spoken but lived daily. Within these walls, the children find more than shelter and care. They encounter a spiritual home where faith is nurtured through prayer, discipline, and example. As sons and daughters of this mission, they are guided to grow in character, compassion, and responsibility, learning to walk the path of righteousness from an early age.

Walking Together Into a Hopeful Academic Year

As this new academic year unfolds, our children step forward equipped with education, mentorship, and spiritual guidance. School uniforms, learning materials, and consistent pastoral care prepare them for both the classroom and life itself. We are deeply grateful to our benefactors, caregivers, teachers, and friends whose support makes this sacred work possible. Through your generosity and prayers, you become co laborers in shaping a future filled with dignity, faith, and promise for every child entrusted to St Irene Orthodox Mission Centre and Orphanage.

You may also stand with us through prayer, visits, and advocacy, becoming a living testimony of Christ’s compassion in action. Together, let us nurture these young lives, planting seeds of hope that will bear fruit for generations to come.
