A Historic Moment for Orthodoxy in Africa
Welcoming the Patriarchal Divine Liturgy
On this blessed occasion, I had the honor of joining His Eminence Archbishop Makarios III and the faithfuls at St. Makarios Chapel in the Seminary to welcome the Patriarchal Divine Liturgy. This sacred celebration was presided over by His Beatitude Pope and Patriarch Theodoros II of Alexandria and All Africa in honor of his Name Day.
As we gathered in prayer, the atmosphere was filled with joy and reverence, reflecting our deep gratitude for His Beatitude’s unwavering dedication to the Orthodox Church. It was a moment of unity, faith, and renewal, reinforcing our commitment to the Gospel and the mission of the Church in Africa.
Happy Name Day, Your Beatitude! May God continue to strengthen and bless you always.
