He Gave His Life—We Give Our Hearts
This Easter, we rejoice in the greatest victory ever known — the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. From the silence of the tomb burst forth eternal life. From the sorrow of the Cross came the joy of salvation. Death has been defeated. Hope has risen. Love has triumphed.
At St. Irene Orthodox Mission Centre and Orphanage, we celebrate not only the miracle of Easter but the deep, abiding love that made it possible. Christ gave His life for all humanity — a gift of pure love, mercy, and grace. And today, we are called to continue that legacy. To be the hands and feet of the risen Christ to those who need Him most.
Our mission is rooted in this Resurrection hope. The children we serve have faced abandonment, pain, and loss — but through love, care, and faith, they are rising. Each smile, each laugh, each step forward is a small resurrection. They are living proof that hope is alive.
We are so grateful to all of you who walked with us, prayed with us, and supported us through this sacred season. Your love is felt not just in words but in action — and it brings life to those who had none.
As we bask in the light of the empty tomb, may we all carry this truth in our hearts: Christ rose so that we may rise too. And when we love the forgotten, feed the hungry, and care for the orphan, we bring that Resurrection to life every single day.
We humbly ask for your continued support and prayers.
Your generosity helps us provide food, shelter, education, and most importantly — love — to children who have no one else to turn to. No gift is too small when it comes from the heart. And your prayers give us strength to keep going, even when the road is hard.
Join us in giving hope
Together, we can keep the light of the Resurrection burning bright in every child’s heart.
