A Miracle in Motion | Laying the Foundation of Our Modern Kitchen

This week marks a moment of profound joy and gratitude at St. Irene Orthodox Mission Centre and Orphanage. We are thrilled to announce that the foundation of our modern kitchen has officially been laid, and construction is now well underway. What once seemed like a distant dream is now rising from the ground, stone by stone.

This kitchen is more than a building, it is the fruit of years of prayer, hope, and unwavering faith. Through the generosity and love of our well-wishers, this long-awaited miracle is becoming a reality. Every contribution, every prayer, and every act of kindness has helped bring us to this beautiful moment.

It is my humble prayer that by the time we celebrate the Nativity of Our Lord and Savior this Christmas, our children will enjoy meals lovingly prepared in this kitchen. What a blessed way it would be to honor the season of Christ’s birth with nourishment prepared in a space born from compassion and unity.
